Phoenix Chamber Choir is set to host From Our Hearts To Yours, a celebratory gala at Heritage Hall. Experience a twofold evening of exceptional choral music—a choral concert at the event and a copy of the choir’s newest CD to take home with you. Whether you’re a long-standing supporter and patron of Phoenix, or new to the Phoenix family, director Graeme Langager’s sends along his personal invitation.
“I am so thrilled to present From Our Hearts to Yours with Phoenix Chamber Choir. Our desire was to create a new, fresh, and hip approach to the standard fundraising gala in order to better reflect this dynamic ensemble, and to appeal to our audience and friends.
And we’ve done just that! A truly special evening is in store for our guests.
In addition to performances by the choir, From Our Hearts to Yours will feature one of Vancouver’s most acclaimed jazz musicians, Brad Turner and the Brad Turner Trio. They will even join Phoenix for a couple really cool numbers.
Adding sophisticated nourishment to the evening, Cedar Coast Catering will prepare some decadent West Coast cuisine, wine will be provided by Church and State Winery, and beer by Deep Cove Brewers. As well, we are offering some coveted silent auction items, including VSO Spring Festival passes, Canucks tickets, and a signed stick.
The real treat of the evening is the release and launch of our newest CD, When The Earth Stands Still. Each guest will receive a copy at the end of the night as a token of our gratitude for their support. The CD has just arrived directly from the record company, and in my opinion this is Phoenix’s best CD yet. The singing is simply stunning; I couldn’t be prouder. It features BC composer, Don Macdonald, who penned the title track, and music by some outstanding upcoming names.
Hope to see you there! It will be the event of the season!”
Phoenix Chamber Choir’s From Our Hearts to Yours fundraising gala takes place on March 24 at 7:30pm at Heritage Hall. Tickets are $100 (includes a $50 tax receipt, food, beverages, CD and music by Phoenix and the Brad Turner Trio).
